The plan was to eat at my favorite restaurant, Graffiti, for my birthday dinner, but it was closed for maintenance (boo!). Instead we went to The Red Bar, which is also awesome (and happens to be Ellen's favorite restaurant). We also walked on the beach, walked all around Seaside - we decided we'd buy a house there and name it "50 Years." No biggie. I got the bucks.
No, just kidding.
Anyway, Ellen gave me a sweet book of poetry and the amazing DVD set of the British TV show "Spaced," which was made by the guys who made Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. If you know me, you know I would practically die for those movies. So needless to say, it made a pretty dang good gift.
Sadly, we had to go home. All vacations must come to an end, I suppose. This one was great, and I gotta hand it to Ellen for a great surprise. Here are some pictures we took along the way.
