Christmasy Christmas

So as the Peanuts would say, Christmas time is here. This is Christmas Eve! It has gone by very quickly this year, which is sad because I always love Christmas. Several weeks ago we decorated our tiny apartment with some sweet decorations. Check out the pics.








Also, last night we went over to Dave and Kristen's with Melissa and Ricky to make and decorate Christmas cookies. It turned into a very violent and physical game of Taboo, but that's another story. Here are some pictures of the cookies.

NYC... again

So Matt and I were overly blessed to be able to go to New York AGAIN.  This time we went with his parents for their annual December trip.  This trip could not have been more different than the last one but it was super fun.  Here are some photos...

A Warning

I love to cook.  I have ever since I was a little girl, and while I am not a pro at coming up with my own recipes, I am good at following others.  I like to eat healthy and it is so nice to use fresh ingredients.  However, I was tired tonight and thought I would try "Hamburger Helper" (which is in no way good for you) because it is so dang easy.  Let me just warn you: it is GROSS.  After trying to eat it myself I looked at Matt and said, "This is pretty nasty" and a look of relief spread across his face cause he knew he didn't have to finish his bowl.  Anyways, just warning you.  Spare yourself.
